A Trio Of Butterflies

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Less Is More...

I used some of my favourite line embossed card to make the base and added a greeting made in Publisher using KG Sorry Not Sorry font. I used some of Anita's Dimension butterflies to represent the circles on the sketch and added some tiny gems for a bit of bling.

I'm also entering this card into the challenges at:

Allsorts Challenges - things with wings
That's Crafty Challenges - fly away

Peace Love Joy

Today's card was inspired by the current challenge at Muse: Christmas Visions - star card!

What really caught my eye with this card was the sentiment. You can never make Christmas cards too early so I made another to add to my box:

I used some lovely striped embossed card I got at a recent craft fair for the base and added a square of embossed gold paper just off centre. The bauble and ribbon are from my ever-growing die colletion and I've added some gold flat-backed pearls.

The sentiment was created using gold peel-off letters in Hobo font.

I'm also entering this card into the challenges at:

The Merry Christmas Challenge #34 - anything goes
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #433 - Christmas

The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up - picture inspiration (inspired by the baubles)

Captain America

Just a quick post before bed...

Here's a Captain America themed card I made for a friend to give to her teenage son...

Red, white and blue thin card and various circle and star dies were all that I needed - oh and thin silver peel-off strips.

I've entered this card into the challenges at:

Watercooler Wednesday - all about birthdays
Sisterhood of Crafters - 'oh boy' (masculine)
Crafty Sentiments - dies/punches
Fairy Tale Challenges - men only
Cuttlebug Mania - AG/dies

CASE-ing Channin

Today's card has been inspired by the challenge at CASual Fridays...

I chose to CASE (Copy and share everything) this card by the wonderful Channin

It looked so easy - NOT! Who'd have thought it was so difficult to 'copy' a card!! I don't stamp so I used dies for the flowers using white card and white vellum. I cut the 'thanks' die three times and carefully stuck the layers together and the 'with' was made using white peel-off letters.

Of course I realised pretty quickly I shouldn't have used striped paper that had a white stripe in it - it means the flower and wording doesn't pop out as much as I wanted.

I'm also entering this card into the challenges at:

Crafty Friends #66 - dies or punches
Crafty Catz #383 - AG/optional thanks
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper - September 2017
Dies R Us #80 - die cut handmade flowers
Glitter n Sparkle #256 - AG

Retro Football Badge

Another very CAS masculine card - this time the brief was 'something Sunderland related'...

I've printed the image of the badge a number of times then decoupaged certain elements. I've then mounted the image on white and silver matting on a white A5 card base. The sentiment was done in Publisher using Copperplate Gothic font.

I've entered this card into the 'anything goes'challenges at:
