Stained Glass Window

Good Morning Everyone!

Welcome to another 'Anything Goes' challenge over at Simply Papercraft and this week we are being sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps

and also by The Stamping Boutique

Both companies are providing some marvellous prizes so join in the fun and you might get lucky!

I've used an image kindly provided by Stitchy Bear for my design team card...

I've printed the image onto cream vellum then coloured it in Autumnal shades using pro-markers. I've created a 'frame' to get a window effect and added a computer printed greeting.

I've also entered this card into the challenges at:

My Time To Craft - Autumnal Colours
Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge - Autumnal Colours
Addicted To Stamps - Make your mark
Moo Mania and More - Autumn Mood
The Crafty Addicts - Autumn Colours

Step - Poppy

Now in my time I have been asked to put some weird and wonderful things on the front of cards as a greeting........... here's a new one for me! My work colleague asked for a masculine looking 60th birthday card for her 'Step - Poppy' (step father?)...

I've used a large 8x8 kraft card base to help the card stand out. The lovely patterned papers are from Papermania, the centre and numbers are die-cut and I've added a navy grosgrain ribbon for some texture.

I've entered this card into the challenges at:

Creative Moments - AG using spots and/or stripes
Penny's Paper-crafty Challenge - AG
The Sisterhood of Crafters - Die-lirious and Punchy
Crafty Gals Corner - ribbons or flourishes
Creative Card Crew - ribbon
Through The Craft-room Door - AG

Thanks for popping in!

Fabulous 50

Tonight's card was a request from a work colleague - a 50th birthday card for her 'Mam' as we say here in the North East...

The numbers are die-cut - a pink layer slightly displaced on a black layer. To add some shine I covered the numbers in glossy accents then added a flat-backed pearl. The background was made in Publisher - I repeated the greeting with a small heart between each repeat. This is a great way to make a newspaper effect backing paper.

The main greeting is done in the same font but larger and I've added a couple of stars and pearls.

Very quick and simple to make!

I've entered this card into the challenges at:

Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Glitter 'n' Sparkle - anything goes
613 Avenue Create - anything goes (option to use pink)
Crafting From The Heart - anything goes
